Chessnut Move vs Evo: moving pieces or an all-in-one chess computer?
The main question is who moves the pieces. On Chessnut Move, the board moves them for you. On Chessnut Evo, you move them by hand, and in return you get a standalone chess computer with coaching tools at a much lower price.
The key differences
Move is about the experience of pieces moving on their own. Evo is about training and playing without a phone. Move also comes with wooden or plastic pieces, which changes the price.

Common questions
Can Evo move the pieces by itself?
No. Evo recognises your moves and shows guidance with coloured lights, but you move every piece, including your opponent’s.
Should I choose wooden or plastic pieces on Move?
The board and technology are the same. Wooden pieces cost AED 400 more and suit a board that stays on display. Plastic pieces are the more practical option for regular play at home.
